APF Touch
TKS APF Touch is a unique automatic distribution wagon for silage/roundbales and concentrate for fixed stable barns for dairycows and cattle.
A groundbreaking consept for automatic feeding of cattle in fixed stable barns. Developed by Orkel in Norway in the early 1990's, and aquired by TKS in 2001 who further developed the system. Probably one of the most sold automatic systems for cattlefeeding in the world, with more than 3000 units sold.
The APF Touch wagon is loaded with silage, strawmaterial, roundbales, silageblocks, loos material and concentrate/minerals (optional). Then the wagon runs in a pre-programmed pattern, and distribute fresh feed 24/7. Concentrate can be given indivdually to each animal. Comes in one size of 3m, and can handle a feedpath up to 40m. Can be filled automatically from different filling sources.
Programming is done on a built-in touchscreen. This is probably the easiest and most labourtime-saving system one can have in a fixed stable barn.
Can be run on either a monorail (for driving in curves and different feeding paths, or on a double rail for straight tracks (filling from top).
